Stopped here for dinner on our first trip to Red Deer. What a great restaurant. The prices are good and the service was excellent. Their senior's portions even come with a small pie for dessert! Highly recommend the chicken pot pie. It definitely taste homemade with nine of that chemical taste you get with some prepackaged options. Their beef brisket was good too.

Fantastic value. Seated quickly. Dated decor but very clean. Excellent table service. Extensive menu options. Very generous portions. Highly recommend the pulled pork soup. Very satisfying comfort food! The chocolate peanut butter pie was so good.

Jan 17, 2026 Gluten Free review-went there tonight for the first time and had the classic burger with a gluten free bun and fries. The waitress told me they have a separate deep fryer for gluten free. The food was excellent and I didn’t feel sick afterwards! Win-win! Would definitely go back 🙂 some members of my family had “normal” food items and said it was tasty as well.

Wanted to stop at a “non-chain” place on way to Calgary from Edmonton and found this place during the search.
It seemed like a good since it is a go to place for locals since several decades and for sure it did not disappoint.
Thought the place was full, we got a seat after a 10 min wait. I went for all you can eat buffet brunch and my partner ordered veggie Benedict. The Veggie Bene was good, and overall serving size was good for breakfast. The buffet spread was great, lot of options including dessert and pies. Absolute value for money and everything was fresh, rich, full of butter, cheese and sugar !! Yes!!
Service was great in all aspects. Washroom were large and clean. Parking outside was free.
Absolutely recommend. 👍👍👍

Amazing experience as always! The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. Alexis was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we were taken care of the entire time.
We’ll definitely be coming back again and will be recommending this place to others!
