Had a lovely chat with the owner about music and culture and people! A very wholesome and dedicated owner who makes amazing food and made me feel very welcome. Good stores like this hold a community together and I'm glad someone who cares and loves is right downtown where we need that the most. The donair was very delicious and he made it extra spicy for me which was fantastic!

We stumbled across King Donair while in downtown Red Deer today, and we’re so glad we did! Not all donairs are created equal, and these were easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, and both the sweet and garlic sauces tied everything together beautifully. On top of that, the service was excellent—the gentleman who helped us was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The next time we’re in Red Deer, King Donair will definitely be on our list to revisit!

I have been coming to eat here since I was in elementary school and I am graduating high school now and this is my favourite place to eat, the service is amazing and I am treated with respect and kindness the second I step into the atmosphere and there is no where else I would rather fill my stomach. The prices are perfect for such a packed donair that you make yourself with a large variety or crispy fries and a sweet treat like Jilabi for after I’m done eating. I am never still hungry after eating any meal from here it’s always a yes when me and friends want to eat here and the food is always made with love of course that’s why it taste better than anyone else!!!

I tried their mixed meat shawarma (chicken and beef), and it was absolutely delicious. The wrap was loaded with juicy, flavorful meat and packed with fresh toppings — especially the cucumbers, which gave it a nice crunch and balance. The portion size was generous and super filling; I honestly didn’t expect to get this full from one shawarma!
You can tell they put care into how they make their food, and the guy behind the counter was really friendly and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely worth a visit — I’ll be coming back for sure.

Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious Chicken & Beef Kabab with Salad 🥗. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this establishment to everyone. Fresh and clean.
