Went there this summer. Food tasted good. I'm asian so I went with one of the spiciest servings. Spice level is okay (been here for a few months and my spice tolerance is not the same as before). Anyway, the service is great. And washroom is kept clean.
My wife and I just dined here and I cannot leave a good enough review for our experience. Our server was amazing (I unfortunately did not catch her name), she was sweet, helpful, and very friendly! We got the Fresh Salad Rolls and the Skewer Trio to start and the combination of cold, fresh veggies and shrimp with savoury charred skewers of chicken, pork, and beef was mouthwatering. Then came our mains, Tofu Curry and Hot Thai Stir Fry. The fried tofu puffs soak up the delicious curry sauce and when you bite it, your mouth fills with flavour. The Hot Thai Stir Fry is the perfect mix of taste and heat for the spice lovers out there. Unlike some spicy foods, this one doesn’t keep getting hotter and hotter with each bite so you can enjoy every bit of it! And the rice paired with both was textbook perfect. Our experience was a definite 11/10. We will absolutely be coming back! Thank you everyone at Bamboo Hut! ❤️
My wife and I came here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, right next to Sylvan Lake. I must commend the service—it was exceptional. The lovely young lady who served us was incredibly attentive and polite. She really made us feel welcome and added a heartwarming touch to our evening. As for the food, the Southeast Asian flavors are on point! We absolutely loved the Spicy Wonton Soup; the flavor was rich and authentic. The portion sizes are also very generous, which we appreciated. One small wish: If the menu included Thai Milk Tea or Vietnamese Coffee, it would be absolutely perfect! Overall, a great experience. We will definitely recommend this place.
Ordered takeout, they forgot to put the $4 upcharge mushrooms in my soup - it was still pretty good. The piesce de resistance was my deep fried bananas as a desert where they treated me to a coconut and chocolate covered spring roll pictured here. I honestly had to laugh at the spring roll - I have terrible luck with takeout. Willing to try them out again but WOOF dude.
It felt like finding a hidden treasure. Very easy to miss out locating this place. At first site you may think twice entering, but trust me it's an amazing place. Servers are kind and eager to help, the menu is a 2 pager and a few Chef Specials in another. They also serve drinks. We went for Hot Thai Stir Fry - Chicken Shrimp - Tofu Curry - Fresh Fries with multiple sauce and toppings. All the preps and flavours were just awesome. The portion size was XL.
