This is definitely one of the hidden gems in Red Deer. We were warmly greeted by the cook upon arriving, we had the enchiladas, crispy taco and empanada. Very authentic, very flavourful and very festive. Will definitely be back to try other things.

I 🌯️ I'm so glad I found this authentic Mexican restaurant! 🌮 The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The owner, a lovely woman, had a charming vibe that made me feel right at home. I ordered the quesadilla with beans and rice, and it arrived hot, full of flavor, and with just the right amount of spice. The portions were huge, and the price was around $15 per person - what a steal!

Absolutely a hidden gem, food was incredible, the owners were so nice it was great! Amazing portions, the burrito and rice/beans combo was delicious and very filling for a great price. Definitely recommend! Be carefully with the spicy sauce though, haha, it packs a punch!

This hidden gem has authentic Mexican food (not "Canadian-Mexican", but genuine Latin food). Having been in Canada for nearly forty years (after living in the Southernmost town in California, and taking frequent weekend trips to Mexico), I am always in search of places like this. The food was excellent!!! The owner is very nice. The decor is a lot of fun. We will absolutely be back. All three of us went with enchiladas (vegetarian, chicken, and beef. The portions are large, and the quality is really great.

My wife and I have been wanting to try out Jose Jose in the north side of Red Deer after seeing some good reviews and photos on Red Deer Foodies. We finally got there recently for lunch and we were not disappointed!
We both enjoyed Chicken Quesadillas with rice and refried beans. I had a great habanero sauce to add to my quesadillas. I asked for a second one as it was very good and I am a fan of spicy hot flavours and priced fairly. The spicy heat was just right for me. We had quick and friendly service with a nice area to dine in as well. We both thanked the owner and we are looking forward to returning to try out some of the other menu options with some friends and family.
