Longhorn Saloon & Grill is a great local spot in Ponoka with tasty food, generous portions, and a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. They often have live events that add to the fun vibe. Service can be a bit slow at times, but overall the experience and food make it worth coming back.

The food here is pretty good, I’d go again for the food. However, the service was subpar. It took very long for anyone to come see me and compared to restaurants I went to that week, the service fell way short. The atmosphere was also a bit weird. While I was eating my meal, people were playing slots which made for a weird atmosphere.

Server was really nice. I had the fish and chips, and my daughter had the clubhouse sandwich. She really liked the sandwich, and she said the fruits were her favourite kind. Seasoned and coated, apparently...?
The fish and chips was ok. The fish was a bit too crispy my liking, and I am not a big fan of that style of fries, but again, my daughter really liked them.
It was a very clean restaurant.
There is a bar side, which we did not go into, but it looked nice in there.

One of the best restaurant I've ever went to. Staffs were friendly, the foods were delicious, and the prices were reasonable.
Would totally go back there again and try all their menu one by one.

Service and food is great, with a comfortable atmosphere. From reserving and pre-setting the table to making sure my steak was done just the way I like it, the attention to details was appreciated. Kiri was a fantastic server, kind, friendly, and prompt. The cut of meat served was done perfectly for all our meals, whether it was AAA steak, prawns, or fish. Very impressive. We may have even caught a glimpse of local TV royalty as well. What a fantastic experience! We’ll be back!
