First visit to Lucky's Family Restaurant on the long weekend. Was welcomed by staff and even customers when walking in. Service was fast and friendly and helpful.
A lot of other Chinese restaurant could take some notes from this places... The Deep Fried wontons were on point. The sweet and sour Chicken balls had actual chucks on chicken in them unlike most places where there is more batter the meat. The sweet and sour pork was very tasty as well. Chicken fried rice was good not oily like some places. I would highly recommend this family restaurant to anyone looking for quick meal that will satisfy your hunger.

If there was a "0" rating, I would have given that. My husband wanted to order from monsuir wongs, and I wanted to try here.
Let's just say, he won't let me pick again. The ginger beef was horrid!!!! It was all breading and no beef! It was soggy and disgusting. The rest was bland and just gross. Super disappointing considering we spent over $70.

Had dinner here after we saw some recommendations on social media.
We were greeted warmly by the host, she told us we can choose any table we want. Great ambiance, very clean, the place is very spacious and our host/server was very friendly. They had a very kitchen with lots of orders being called out. Must be fun working in their kitchen! We checked our menu and put in our orders and to my surprise, our orders were served super-fast! The servings were huge!!! We got the special fried rice (comes with beef, shrimp & veggies), curried beef (soft, thin slices of beef with fresh, crunchy veggies made with a savory curry sauce), the well-loved spicy fried calamari and my wife’s favorite schezhuan pork ribs. It was a feast! We enjoyed the food but we can’t finished everything. Our host was mindful enough to bring us takeout packs and we were so happy with the service! We’ll definitely return here - for the food and the awesome service!

I ordered sweet and sour pork and house rice. The rice was plain no vegetables very little shrimp no chicken or beef.
The sweet-and-sour pork was gross no sauce and taste so bad.

Excellent Chinese Food. Fast and friendly service. This took me back to childhood with that "small Alberta town local Chinese restaurant" taste. The fried rice, sweet and sour pork, pineapple chicken balls, ginger beef, beef and broccoli, and everything else tasted great. Portions were large on the Dinner A and Dinner B we ordered. Nice open restaurant with lots of space. We will definitely return.
