I really wanted to love this place. Worst $20 I’ve spent on food in quite some time. Red Deer’s biggest lunch buffet? One star because at least the butter chicken was flavorful, but the chicken was quite dry. Same thing goes for the chicken curry, not as tasty as the butter chicken, but the chicken was also dry. All three vegetable options were inedible. The server brought me a decent serving of well burnt naan. The salad bar consisted of withered carrot slices and onions. Had to request veggie pakoras specifically because they were out… server brought me a couple and I’m pretty sure they were heated up leftovers… I didn’t eat more than half of one of them. The second picture is all of the vegetable dishes that I barely touched because they were gross.
Extremely disappointed. I feel like I’ve been completely swindled.

Great food! Jas paaji is a great host. The food tasted good.
A friendly suggestion. Reduce the clutter in the seating area, improve lighting, and ambiencez and it'll attract more customers for dine-in.
Other than that, its a great place for a family dinner.

I chose to walk down to try on my lunch. The buffet on Mondays is fantastic! Lots of vegetarian and meat friendly options on a savoury saffron rice. The warm aromas of cardamom and allspice waft up as soon as the lid is lifted, promising more flavour ahead. As I was plating up, staff asked me if I would like naan and spring rolls. They bring it hot and fresh to the table, perfectly crisp egg rolls and soft, tender buttered naan. I will be back to see what’s on the menu next this Wednesday and Friday.

I had a wonderful experience at Tandoor N Flame Restaurant. The food was full of authentic flavors and clearly made with care. The curries were rich and well-spiced, the naan was fresh and soft, and the portions were generous for the price.
The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Service was timely, and the food came out hot and fresh.
If you’re looking for delicious Indian food with traditional flavors and good value, Tandoor N Flame is definitely worth visiting. I’ll be coming back again!

The place wasn’t very tidy. The washrooms had a strong odor and the overall atmosphere was quite loud. The food was okay.
